Stacy was my mom's nurse on several occasions during her stay at St. Johns. She was the nurse when we had more questions and concerns than answers. I immediately found her to be dedicated to the patient, my mom, and her care. I was impressed with her attention to detail.
Stacy was persistent. She helped us in many ways while caring for my mom. She made sure that doctors and departments were called when needed. Her concern for my mom was evident and appreciated. She took the time to know my mom and her symptoms. She carefully watched over my mom while she was on the 7th floor. She was one of the few nurses that took the time to do a neuro check.
After my mom's release from the 7th floor, she was taken back down to the rehab floor. I had come back to the 7th floor to ask a question when I came across Stacy. She inquired about my mom. I realized as we were speaking that this was a sincere inquiry and that she really wanted to know how she was doing. This made me realize even more what a great nurse Stacy is and that she has a very caring heart. Thank you for employing Stacy that is not only good at her job but has the passion and heart to do it properly.
