This precious nurse was one of many wonderful NICU nurses however she stood out to us because she cared for our child just like he was one of hers. We would leave and come back and she would be tending to our child, not like he was another baby in the NICU but like he was the only one there. She would immediately update us on every little thing, being our first child this was huge and answer every question we had with reassurance about his condition. She is also a mom of 5 so she cared for me as well. We wanted to see Stacey every shift. She knew how much I needed to hold my baby and love on him, so she made sure this happened even if she had to assist and stay in his room a few mins longer. She let me give him a bath and nurture him with her help. I just cannot say enough about her heart. She was genuine and it showed. She obviously loves her job and patients and cares for the parents as well. She made us very comfortable in a very uncomfortable and new situation. We loved Stacey and feel like she is a true DAISY Nurse.
