Ms. Simmons was one of the most compassionate people I met when my father was a patient. She took the time to patiently answer all of my questions. She took time out of her busy schedule to sit and talk to me about my father's care and medications he was receiving; my dad made a comment about how he missed his dog. Ms. Simmons went to the gift shop and bought him a dog to keep him company. She showed so much patience with him and always told him what a joy he was. I am a retired nurse and realize what a demanding job nursing is, but she always had a smile, kind word, and never treated my father like an "old" man as some people do. I will always appreciate her kindness to me and my father.
