Amy is the definition of a great team player. She is always ready to jump in and help when needed. I have witnessed multiple occasions where she has pitched in to help her coworkers. A few nights ago she was a nurse on 4C when a choking baby was rushed into nursery 4. She jumped up and went into the nursery to assist the nursery nurse in resuscitating the infant. She assisted the floor nurse in transferring the infant also. Tonight, she was scheduled in Transition but since she was not at a delivery she was out helping the floor nurses when a patient started bleeding heavily. She basically took over the patient from the floor nurse so that the nurse could tend to her other patients. She is very calm in emergency situations. On both these occasions, she did not have to help as she was assigned to other areas, but she did so willingly and without hesitation. I appreciate her flexibility in all areas.
