I was admitted at Bareen Hospital several months ago due to severe HG (Hyperemesis Gravidarium). I could hardly swallow anything, vomiting for almost 24/7 and I was actually wishing I wouldn't wake up anymore. But then there were those nurses who patiently took care of me. All nurses were commendable, but Kris stood out.
Kris unknowingly made so much difference. She was offering assistance in every way possible, asking me if I needed help to go to the washroom, changing my food because I could not stand it, taking time to talk to me despite her busy schedule.
Kris reminded me of how lucky I was despite HG. She reminded me there are many women who would love to be in my shoes just to have a baby. Most of all she reminded me that though I am miles away from home, I am not alone.
