Nurse Ruanprair is an extraordinary nurse with exceptional kindness, a loving and caring smile, composure and high level of responsibility to her patients and their families. Every time she steps into the hospital, Nurse Ruanprair simply puts on her nursing hat and transforms into a dedicated professional registered nurse worthy of being a role model for all others. Every move she makes is to ensure the safety and the well-being of her patients, reflected by her constant communication with the patients and their families as well as frequent follow-up with the patient's concerns. Regardless of how lengthy the session may take, Nurse Ruanprair always ensures that the patient and family have the opportunity to ask all their questions and answers them accordingly until they are well understood. Nurse Ruanprair is also a role model and a consultant for nurses in her team. She is capable of establishing an amazing mutual relationship with patients, families, physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers. Once, there was a foreign patient transferred from the clinic outside of the hospital to our hospital for shortness of breath and fever. The wife and the daughter of the patient also presented. The great difficulty and challenge have been proven to be the language barrier. Even though there was a big wall of language barrier sitting between Nurse Ruanprair and the patient, she did not budge and give up on providing the best and safest care to her patient. She approached the patient and family with constant observation and communication through various tools and the daughter who spoke little English. One night, Nurse Ruanprair detected that the patient's level of consciousness has dropped. She reached for the hands of the patient and his daughter and informed them that she will notify the physician and help them as best as she could. Months have passed since then. The patient has lived to care and to provide for his family while Nurse Ruanprair continues on caring for all the patients with the words from the daughter constantly ringing in her heart, "Thank you for saving my father. Thank you for saving my family."
