Nurse Bianca was my bedside nurse (night shift) after I had my operation. She introduced herself and said she will be my nurse until tomorrow morning and gave a warm smile. She immediately assessed me and advised me to do my deep breathing exercise so that my lungs would expand and help me breathe better. She told me what my medications were and offered to help me get in a comfortable position. She put pillows around very carefully because she knew I was in a lot of pain. She took my vital signs and advised me to call her whenever I need her. I would randomly wake up every hour or so and I noticed that she really checked up on me. She would offer to turn me in bed every time she saw I was awake. She genuinely made me want to feel better. I appreciate it so much. Every night shift she would be assigned to me and her nursing care is simply astonishing because, in spite of her busy unit, she made sure to come back and check if I was okay or if I need anything. She provides beyond amazing nursing care. Thank you, Bianca!
