As a Health Insurer, our goal is to offer members the services necessary for a healthy life. The Discharge Planning Unit has a great Nursing team that with their experience and knowledge strives every day to provide the best service to our affiliates. On a daily basis, they coordinate all necessary services for our affiliates assuring seamless transitions through the continuum of care. For this reason, we want to recognize the service, commitment and dedication they have with our affiliates.
An example of the great commitment and service in the Unit is Marisol López Rivera, RN. Marisol is in the Supervisor of the Discharge Planning Unit and it's her empathy and commitment that makes the difference in assuring that her staff complies and tends to the needs of the affiliates in their most vulnerable moment, post-hospital discharge. In her supervisory role, she has always demonstrated a high commitment to our affiliates and colleagues by complying with the company's standards. She demonstrates a genuine interest in assuring that affiliates' needs are met and that her staff is 100% compliant with regulations and quality care. She goes far and beyond the duties of her role. As a leader, she strives to prepare her staff with the necessary tools to provide services to our members. She is an excellent co-worker and team player, excelling in her work and demonstrating great sensitivity toward our affiliates.
