One of the patients in SICU admitted since March and he is a chronic patient on tracheotomy and ventilation, needs always a psychological support and June was his birthday. She realized that this patient stayed a few months in SICU and set out to celebrate his 76th Birthday. She informed his family members and they were very happy when they heard. She did some decoration in the room and family brought some cakes, and the patient was very happy, he was so excited because his wife was so sick and she came with family to wish him a happy birthday.
This kind of motivation and initiative makes the unit very happy with high patient satisfaction.
