Fran has been my link nurse since the day I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma until now. She helped me cope with my sudden unexpected diagnosis. She was patient enough to explain to my husband and my family about what is happening with my treatment. Fran was always in the clinic whenever I had my appointments and would make things easier with prescribed medications and blood test waiting time. What I like/love about her is that she is always there for me and not just for me but also to all the patients under her care. She would usually visit me during my chemotherapy treatment and also whenever I get admitted to the hospital. Fran is always one call/email away. I am now in remission and even until now, whenever I feel off about my body I would always email Fran and she always gives me a call right away. Fran made things easier for me when it comes to dealing with cancer/my diagnosis. She helped me get through the toughest time that my family and I had been. I have the best UCLH experience because of my nurse and that is Frances Penny.
