From the weeks before our son was born, we were visited by Alison to discuss the possibilities and the intricacies of cystic fibrosis. The day he was born, Alison was there to give us the news that he did have CF, and as part of the CF team, nothing has ever been too much trouble for Alison whether it is coming out to our house or visiting the nursery to put rules in place. She has been such a big help to make such a heartbreaking condition easier for all of us.

Alison has been an outstanding nurse, not only to our little boy but to us as 1st-time parents faced with the devastating news our child has an incurable genetic disease. The 1st year of his life was numerous hospital visits and her constant support and advice have always been greatly appreciated, nothing is ever too much trouble. She has always gone above and beyond and on many occasions visiting us at home to answer all of our questions and guide us through some very tough times. She truly has been amazing and we value her like a member of our family.
