Guo Xinli cares for her colleagues. As an experienced circuit nurse in the OR, Ms. Guo always manages to help scrub nurses with things she is capable of. She is always ready to help colleagues, which make us feel so comforting with her around.
Ms. Guo cares for her patients. She adjusts the room temperature for them, covers blankets on them, and puts them on right positions to prevent pressure injuries. She pays attention to details concerning patients, such as the time of electrode slice used. She seems to keep the OR room warm and to keep the cold OR bed warm. She said to the patient, "You can do this", to drive off the fear and bring warmth. She said "Do not worry", to drive off anxiety and bring confidence.
Ms. Guo also cares for surgeons. She pays attention to and knows very well about every surgeon's special needs and habits. Surgeons like to work with her. She shares her experience with less experienced nurse, which contributes to the good relationship between OR nurses and surgeons as an excellent team.
