I came into hospital having had my 3rd heart attack. I was very anxious being away from home and I felt very lonely. I suffer from agoraphobia. The first day was a blur. It all changed when Sam came on shift the next morning. She made me feel human again. She is perfect example of a nursing professional. She is funny, attentive, informative and so much more. In my opinion she needs to train nurses "how to be" and bedside etiquette. Sam brought rainbows and sunshine to my stay at City.
Nothing was too much for Sam; she definitely has the health and wellbeing of each patient as her priority. That reassured me. She is so positive. The NHS need more Sam Corbetts.
