I'd like to commend Nurse Maye for being observant. In one of her routine rounds, she noticed that there was an orange on our table as asked if we are feeding our child the orange. She said that it could irritate our child's stomach because it is acidic. I just find it impressive because she's the only one who observed and was quick-witted enough to ask us about it. She went beyond her duty of just checking temperature and IVs and for us, that is commendable. She is also friendly and really relates well to our child.
