Ms. Abrar Mohammad is a great example of dedication and loyalty in her work; not only in her area of responsibility but even in her off time. She helps anyone who needs her help. One perfect example of how dedicated Ms. Abrar was in her work when she went for hajj duty in Ansar Hospital, Madinah.
When she was going home from her night duty while waiting for her car, she heard somebody shouting from a car and when she went near them she saw a woman in labor inside the car. Ansar hospital has no OB-Gyne Department so nobody knows how to handle OB-Gyne Cases. Abrar wasted no time and she examined the patient and realized that the patient was fully dilated and ready to deliver. In her professional judgment, she knew that the patient would deliver anytime soon. There was an ambulance standing by near her, so she requested gloves and other things needed for the imminent delivery and she delivered the baby spontaneously on the busy street of Madinah cutting the baby's cord with surgical scissors borrowed from the ambulance. She then brought the baby immediately inside the hospital to do their initial assessment care. And after a while, the mother was also brought inside the hospital for post-partum assessment and care. Alhamdulillah, both the mother and the baby are safe and doing fine.
And because of her heroism, she was given recognition by the Ministry of health, Madinah and was even posted through social media especially on Twitter.
She has a loving spirit that is being felt through her work. She never hesitates to help anybody, anytime and anywhere regardless of the circumstances. She's ready to expand her scope of service which makes her flexible. She's a nurse with a heart. She's a hero.
