Nurse Anca was amazing! She took care of our baby girl so compassionately. She was a baby whisperer. Very helpful at calming her down when she was upset. She helped me to get comfortable with her in a big stretcher instead of a crib so I could hold my daughter while she was resting. She provided her with lots of snacks and drinks and an iPad to help keep her comfortable. When my daughter was put to sleep for her pre-Cath appointment, she played soothing sleepy time music for her and propped my arm up with a pillow while I was cradling her to sleep. She provided lots of extra warm blankets too.
The evening before her surgery, she sent us home with extra apple juice, glucose, and a bottle too. At one point my husband forgot his phone charger after we moved from the recovery ward. She made the effort to find us and return his forgotten item. I was so glad to see her at the surgery too. I knew that my daughter would get lots of extra love to help her feel better. Thank you so much, Anca. You're such a sweet soul.
