Laura is a very bright, engaging nurse who always talks to both patient and parent. Our family was struggling with the impact of a long admission and Laura checked in with me multiple times as to whether we needed social work, PSW or other supports to help our entire family cope. She also helped me, the parent, to advocate and form questions I had for the team when they came around. Having Laura multiple days in a row made our visit more bearable. She is a bit of sunshine and humor when things are tough. Laura even came to say goodbye to us even though she was not our nurse. Laura makes us feel important and valued. Her demeanor is very empathetic and sincere. Thank you, Laura!
