Nurse Panita Inthong has been a registered nurse for 11 years. She has truly been an amazing experienced role model for all the staffs in Surgical Inpatient Department. There were numerous occasions where her nursing care and compassion for her patients surpassed those of others. What makes her truly stand out from the other DAISY candidates this season is her very being as a compassionate nurse. Nurse Panita Inthong has cared for many patients. One of the patients stated
"Nurse Panita Inthong provided nursing care and efficiently communicated with me with such a calm and loving manner. She never got bored of providing care to me or other patients. Her patience is beyond that of extraordinary nurse. Nurse Panita Inthong is highly responsible for her profession and the care she provides to all the patients. No one can doubt her kindness and compassion when it comes to caring for others. She is an amazing and gracious nurse, who truly is a role model for all the nurses in providing efficient, loving and compassionate care to the patients."
Nurse Panita Inthong is kind and caring not only to her patients but to her colleagues as well. Her colleague commends her,
"Nurse Panita Inthong always sacrifices herself for her patients and her team so that everyone can be happy even though that means she has to work the hardest. What she said to me once truly captured my heart as well. She said 'I don't know why I help; why I do what I do; what I gain from doing it; or if anyone will see, I just don't want to see the others having a hard time or feeling unhappy. I am happy just to be a small pillar of hope and happiness for the others".
With all these wonderful and magnificent reasons, Nurse Panita Inthong has truly captured our hearts and we are truly honored and proud to call her our DAISY Nurse.
