As a first time mother, I felt very intense in everything. I felt unprepared and physically challenged with delivering a baby. Entering parenthood is so stressful. There's overwhelming pressure on how to get started and not confident of many things. Luckily, when I was about to deliver my first unborn child, Ms. Fowziah Al Sharani, Postpartum ward nurse, helped me go through the process smoothly.
Ms. Fowziah was my "angel" in disguised. She gave me a very reassuring smile and comfort by offering me a warm drink that really made me feel at ease. She assisted me to overcome the difficulty and the frightening stage of becoming a mother. In general, everything felt much more manageable when I was with her. She gave me positive reinforcement on how to deal with giving birth as a normal process. Her undying support was truly heart-melting for me.
