I had previously had eye surgery after the doctor said he had to re-operate. I was scared and uncomfortable because I have several diseases, such as hypertension that can complicate surgery. I didn't know if the next surgery would help me get better or worse.
In the operating room, Nurse Pirinda took care of me. I was worried about returning to surgery again. There is a nurse who gave me a smile and said hello. She talked and explained to me about the procedure and process in an easy to understand way with polite words that made me relax. During the process, the atmosphere in the operating room was very cool, still scary, and nerve-wracking. My heart was beating and my pressure was rising. She touched my arm, told me to calm down and relax, she told me to breathe slowly and long, and put music on for me to relax. My blood pressure slowly went down.
The surgery was successful and Nurse Pirinda continued to check on me for a long time afterward. I was very impressed. This surgery made me feel appreciated and I feel very lucky that I met such a good nurse. I want to say thank you to Nurse Pirinda for taking such good care of me.v
