Amanda came to Labor and Delivery about a year ago from a medical floor. She embraced the challenge of a whole new skill set in labor and delivery. She immediately learned all she could and excelled at it. Her clinical skills from the medical floor have helped our entire unit. She takes any assignment without complaint. She doesn't shy away from a challenging patient/assignment. She is always willing to learn something new. Even though she is an experienced nurse, she is willing to take constructive feedback from nurses in her new unit. She is an advocate for all her patients. She took one of our unit's first COVID PUI without complaint. She never once asked why she had to be the one to take this patient.
