My dad was admitted to the hospital with a cardiac event. With all of the restrictions on visitors, there was a huge lack of communication with both my dad and the team taking care of him. Jeff was the 1st nurse to take time out of his morning to give me and the rest of the family that wasn't able to be at the hospital an update and calm some nerves. And to give us a direct line to understanding exactly what was going on. His professionalism and empathy were above anything we had received thus far. This may sound like a small act of kindness or even normal nursing tasks but with the recent events of COVID and the restrictions to follow my family needed the kindness that Jeff showed us.
