Stacy took the time to prepare me for the surgery and even came in early the next morning to see me before I went. She even called my family to let them know how I was doing. After surgery, I never needed to ask for anything because Stacy was always one step ahead of me. She is one caring, compassionate nurse! It was an honor to have Stacy as my nurse! She is very deserving of the wonderful award.

Another patient from out of town nominated Stacy because of the extraordinary care she provided. Stacy knew what to do, made the patient feel safe, cared about, and cared for.
Another time, Stacy went out of her way to make sure the patient felt better just by helping with a good bath and to dress some sores or "owies". This special nursing care made the patient feel physically and emotionally better.
