I could leave for the night knowing he was in good hands.
My husband came into IC on a ventilator with pneumonia and advanced Parkinson's Disease. It was touch and go whether he would survive and recover. Cherilyn was so kind. She answered every question we had, was very reassuring and I felt that I could leave for the night knowing he was in good hands. 2 days later my husband was better and off the ventilator and hungry. Unfortunately, he could not have any food or drink by mouth. His food was liquid and delivered via a nasal feeding tube. When he said he wanted steak Cherilyn printed a picture of a steak and taped it to the bottle of liquid food. We all had a good laugh. Cherilyn is a fabulous, caring, generous person and a wonderful nurse!
