So he made me feel very comfortable and he dotted and crossed all his I's and T's and asked all the right questions such as "is the light too bright or do I want the blinds open or closed?"
John is a very efficient, soft-spoken, very kind nurse. He corrected my painful IV that was put in by someone else and he helped me with the oxygen tubing that entangled me at the beginning of my stay. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. I came across John around 6:45 pm to 7:10 am. Originally, I didn't want a male nurse due to me being female, especially when I needed to use the restroom. John immediately, in an ever so kind and soft-spoken voice said, I can exchange out with someone. He then came back and said there is no one to exchange out with. I felt bad for him. He then took the time to make me comfortable. He came back later to get vitals. I asked if he was married and he said yes, with two kids, ages 16 and 14. So he made me feel very comfortable and he dotted and crossed all his I's and T's and asked all the right questions such as "is the light too bright or do I want the blinds open or closed?" John was very thorough, even more than the other nurses. We laughed and talked about our "destiny" meeting. John deserves recognition for his detailed nursing skills. When I was sad, he made me happy.
