Julia is an amazing nurse. She is kind, caring, and compassionate. She is extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled in a critical care setting. Julia has taken the time to help explain A's heart condition and other diagnoses he has had. She has been fast-acting on days when he wasn't doing well. She had advocated for what is best for him and our family. Julia not only takes care of A but has also shown so much compassion for our family. She has gotten to know me and has been a sounding board for me; she listens to my concerns and question about A. She empathizes with me about how difficult it is to be away from my other children while we wait for a transplant.
Julia goes above and beyond to make sure that holidays are special because she knows how much the little things matter to families. Julia has made our hospital experience better, we look forward to any day we have her as a nurse and she comes to visit on days she isn't. She is the definition of an excellent nurse.
