My mom was admitted to ICU for sepsis in October. She was very sick and I thought she was going to die. Ashley was her nurse the day that I thought she was going to die. Ashley stayed by my mom's side all day long. I don't even think she took the time to eat lunch that day, she was with her the entire 12 hrs. As a nurse myself, I couldn't even stay back in my mom's room watching my mom deteriorate and her organs shut down, but Ashley was there, and because she was there I felt okay not being back there. Every time I went back there to her room to check, Ashley was there taking excellent care of her and keeping her alive. She never gave up on my mom, she always kept me informed about her vitals, change in her drips, lab results, etc. She is such an Extraordinary Nurse, she is so caring, and she puts her patient's needs before her own needs. I will never forget how great of a nurse she was to my mom, she even took the time to brush my mom's hair after laying in the bed so much. Ashley is the type of nurse that everyone needs to be!
