I will forever be grateful for the outstanding care and compassion that my labor and delivery nurse, Ashley exhibited. She gave personalized care a whole new meaning. With her pleasant and competent care, she easily made me feel at ease and was always looking for ways to make me feel comfortable and diminish my anxiety. Ashley was proactive. She listened attentively and was wonderful at explaining things. Ashley was diligent with excellent follow-through. She was particularly helpful in pairing me with an anesthesiologist who would be understanding of my vago vagus nerve reflex. When the noise from the next room distressed me, Ashley volunteered to look for another available space. Ashley placed my care above her own and specifically postponed her dinner break so that she could hold my hand during an unpleasant exam that I was dreading. Her outstanding care extended beyond me to include my husband and our newborn daughter, and we were so happy that Ashley could be my nurse in the operating room as well. We were also very grateful that she volunteered to take baby photos for us in the operating room. After my C-section, Ashley also made it a point of continuing on with us to the recovery area and introducing us to the next nurse who would be caring for me.
My husband and I have been raving about Ashley to our friends and family. We could not have asked for a better nurse and will always remember the positive role she played in the birth of our baby.
