Kristin is very genuine, respectful, and caring, not only towards her patients but also her coworkers.
Over her eight years at MSK, Kristin has worked with both the adult and pediatric patient population. Kristin embodies all of the qualities of a DAISY Nurse. She has tailored her care, empathy, and communication strategies to meet the needs of her patients. Kristin is very genuine, respectful, and caring, not only towards her patients but also her coworkers. She is a mentor who relentlessly teaches her newly oriented nurses what it means to be efficient and thorough with every patient interaction.
After the hospital administration identified the SACU as a "pop-up ICU," Kristin was eager to help. Her passion for the call to duty was palpable. Kristin attended training classes and completed a couple of shadow shifts. She picked up the new expectation without hesitation or skipping a beat; she was immediately a high contributor to the team. M18 and its patients were truly fortunate and blessed to have Kristin on the team. We cannot thank Kristin enough for her dedication to M18, MSK, and her shared values for patient care excellence. Our organization, department, and profession are lucky to have her.
