When I first arrived on the floor, Missy's friendly outgoing demeanor not only was warm, welcoming, and set an encouraging, comforting tone. Missy clearly went over the information board and gave a clear overview of what to expect, when to expect it, and who to expect in the plan of my recovery. I had an issue with a slow awakening bladder and she sensed immediately my anxiety. In a calming manner, she explained this is a frequently occurring issue and that not to worry my bladder would be working soon. Throughout the time it took my bladder to awaken she was always encouraging. Throughout my stay she treated me with such kindness and made me feel like her only special patient. Her dedication to this hospital is amazing and impactful.
