While I was very sick and admitted to Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, I was assigned to the third floor PCU unit.
Dan was my third floor night nurse. He always came into the room with a cheerful, caring, and upbeat mood and asked if there was anything he could do for me.
Whenever I needed something, he made it happen. He was a truly creative "troubleshooter" for me.
I especially recall late one night I became very uncomfortable and buzzed for Dan. It turned out that my left arm IV hookup had stopped working. So here it was at 1 am and Dan came to my rescue. H reattached my IV lines to my right arm. In the process, my whole room had to be rearranged so I could be more comfortable. It was amazing to see Dan transform my room into a comfortable and usable space for me.
Dan was also very patient and knowledgeable about answering all my questions about my medicines, tests, and hospital procedures.
During my hospital stay, Dan became my trusted medical friend. His positive and caring attitude was a real blessing to me. I'm very thankful that Dan was my night nurse!
Dan is definitely a highly qualified and caring employee at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
