Erika not only has gone above and beyond taking care of my son, but she even went above and beyond for me. She kept checking in on how my son was doing and was very attentive to all of his needs. I have a newborn whom I breastfeed, and once she found that out, and knew that I had been staying here in the hospital with my son, she went and brought me a Medela Nursing Pump so that I would be able to pump and store my breastmilk so that someone could take it home to my newborn baby girl. He's 11 years old and for him to tell me "aww mom, that's super nice and cool that she even thought about my little sister, so she can eat while you're here taking care of me", just says so much about here. We need more nurses like her everywhere. Thank you so much, Erika, for all that you did for me and my son while being at Texas Children's Hospital.
