Kathleen was my husband's nurse on Friday. She was terrific in every way! Kind, caring, anticipating needs, giving experienced advice for husband regarding a particular situation. She embraced her role as his nurse with a genuine desire for his improvement. Her style is so natural and so effortless, it is simply who she is as a human being.
Kathleen made certain that all of our questions and concerns were answered and even spent time with me viewing his images to help me understand his injuries. She treated us like family although she only knew us for a day. She is a wonderful example of what nursing is all about (The giving of one's self in true and honest work of caring for another person.) We felt better about life after meeting her.

Kathleen was a wonderful nurse to my aunt, who is completely blind and has some developmental delays. We did not have the best experiences with how she was being treated, except for Kathleen McGowen! She was amazing with my aunt, very compassionate and empathetic. She kept us informed on everything about her. She helped keep her calm and us as we went through this very stressful situation. We are so thankful for Kathleen.
