Ryan received his DAISY award nomination from one of his patient's family members. The patient's son felt that Ryan makes special connections, goes above and beyond, and generates enthusiasm and positive energy:
"My dad has dementia, and I know how difficult it can be to care for someone in that capacity; but you made him laugh, you were great with him in all aspects. The care was excellent! Thank you."
