Megan served as my mother's nurse for 3 days. At the beginning of her shift, Megan introduced herself and asked if we needed anything. She was extremely patient and kind to my mom, who had many accidents during Megan's shift that required several linen and gown changes. These are traits you would expect of a nurse, however, Megan went above and beyond.Kudos to Megan! She is truly a DAISY Nurse who has made a stressful and tough time for my mom and me bearable. It is evident that she genuinely cares and enjoys her job. I also observed her periodically check in on all of her patients. I gave Megan big hug after the last day of her 3-day work week with my mom. She is a great asset to the University of Chicago Medicine!
