My father-in-law was admitted to the hospital for an infection and CHF. He has been failing for the last few months. It became apparent during this hospitalization that he was terminal. Only through pressure on MD's who were continuing to treat acutely, were we able to develop a plan for Hospice care. When David became our nurse, his care was coordinated and focused on my father-in-law's care and comfort. He spent a lot of time with my father- and mother-in-law explaining their options and offering choices which always focused on keeping my father-in-law comfortable. He checked in often and spent time with all the family even though there were many of us. He had quick hugs for my mother-in-law. He was compassionate and professional and truly an angel to this family. He was the blessing we needed in this long journey. Thanks so much, super Dave. You are great!
