Gavin is an example of compassion that goes above and beyond. One day, he was caring for a patient who had to stay for a while to receive IV antibiotics. This patient was depressed, and feeling cooped up. Gavin used his lunch break to take the patient outside for some fresh air, and eat lunch together.
On another day, he was getting ready to discharge a homeless patient on a hot summer day. Gavin was concerned about this patient's hydration, and gave the man his Gatorade from his lunch to help him.
Gavin is selfless, humble, and very generous!
