The patient weebled and wobbled, fell over and landed on the floor. Dat missed his break to call the doctor regarding the fall. Dat went above and beyond with patient care. Dat put the patient first. I would like to recognize DAT as a DAISY nurse.

Dat was not only attentive of my care but very funny as well. He explained my new pain control and got me an extra dosage at midnight because of the new on-set of pain. He told me about the new flu shot and offered to get me a shot, despite them not being available until the next day. Dat went out of his way to discuss my up-coming procedures and, of course, made me feel like a friend and very comfortable about staying here in the hospital.
