Amanda provided totally outstanding service from the moment I checked into the unit until the time I left. She helped get us acclimated to the unit by showing where all the facilities were. She familiarized us with the room and equipment. Amanda explained a great deal about my upcoming procedure and effects that could be expected after the procedure was accomplished. She was very effective and efficient about getting all tasks completed while remaining 100% personable and friendly.
Upon my discharge, we ran into some difficulties in getting a prescription filled. Amanda called pharmacy after pharmacy to determine if they had the proper drug and proper dosage and just as important if my insurances were accepted. The point being that Amanda went way over what was expected. Providing simply the best nursing care and treatment that I or my family has received in the last 30 years. In the meantime, I could also see that she remained focused on the other patients she was responsible for. A truly wonderful thing to see her multi-task with several patients while still providing individual service to each that went above and beyond. This hospital, this unit CPRU, and Amanda are super!
