My father was brought to your Emergency Department by EMS. Carrie Murphy, RN, spent greater than 2 hours bathing him and removing head-to-toe bloody stool from his body. She then took time from that horrendous job to talk to me by phone with kindness. I appreciate all she did for him while he was under her care. I completely understand the job she had to do. I most especially appreciate the professionalism, dignity, and expertise she imparted to insure he was safe and secure.
He spent 10 days in the hospital and was moved to a Rehab Center. We moved my mom in with him as she immediately failed at home without him. Sad times for our family. One of the bright spots was Carrie. We appreciate all she did to care for our dad.
