I consider myself very fortunate to have a chance to work with an expert. Lilia has over 30 years of nursing experience. Working with her was a great learning experience for me. I really value the knowledge and insight she has.
She is so patient especially in teaching novice nurses like myself. I am new in hemodialysis and everything is so foreign to me. But with her patience and guidance, slowly I was able to become a competent dialysis nurse. She is always available via text or phone call 24/7 if I, or any other nurse, needs clarification or assistance.
She is not only fantastic at her job, but she has also proven herself to be a loving and caring person, both with staff and patients. She provides such excellent patient care that almost each patient looks forward to seeing her in their vulnerable state.
She is a people person that gets along with everybody. She is very approachable and professional. She talks to everybody with respect regardless of their status or position. She treats them all the same.
She deals with difficult and emergency situations like a pro. Patients with difficult fistula, no problem. She has the lightest hand that all of our patients appreciate, which she would like all of us in this unit to learn. She wants to spare the patients from pain as much as possible.
She has never called in sick in her over 30 years (and counting) of service. She has never been late and is always available to work 24/7. I would like to work with her as long as I can.
