I am a PFN registration clerk and have worked with and seen Carol's care and compassion for each patient she comes in contact with. She greets them with that friendly smile not only in her face, but also in her voice. Carol treats you as you are an equal, helpful to you even though that may not be her job. She is always happy and cheerful on that early morning shift.
The other day, she walked through the front registration and saw the wife of the patient she had taken care of. She came up to her and started a conversation like she was their best friend. Carol told the patient how great he looked and that she was privileged to care for him. This patient was an ED stroke patient that needed a pacemaker. Wow! to have a nurse that cares and remembers!
