Danya is a great nurse, leader and mentor in the surgery department. She takes charge often and can manage the board and she handles "crisis" situations with ease. She remains calm; she always assumes goodness in intentions. She is accountable; she tries to provide solutions to problems before they arise and she handles them in stride. Danya is always looking for improvement, she thought of an idea for retention in our department of scrub cap incentives as this would be more pertinent to surgery and it would include new hires as part of the Mercy "team". Danya is always looking to improve herself and she can therefore better guide others. She is the total example of the Mercy guiding behaviors!
