John took care of a father that had been diagnosed with Lymphoma. His condition had declined over a years time. An Acute Respiratory diagnoses brought him into ICU. By now, according to the family, he had a poor diagnosis. John showed so much compassion and ensured that the family was involved in his care. John listened intently to many life experiences and stories allowing the family to celebrate the man they loved so dearly. After the patient was transferred to another floor, John followed up to make sure the family was okay and had what they needed. John showed exemplary care to the patient and his family.
