Kristin is an extraordinary nurse who has a gift to explain materials in simple terms, provides examples that pertain to the topic and has the ability to listen compassionately. She provides her undivided attention when you speak to her and she makes you feel comfortable. One day, she was the first person I told about a childhood situation and she provided so much empathy and compassion, she moved to sit closer to me providing me more security to continue to speak. She provided encouragement and positive reinforcement of my situation. She gave me the strength to conquer an emotional subject. Her teaching style helps the groups actively engage and her participating in activities just makes it more fun. Kristin has helped me defeat my feelings of despair, was very comforting, and she has been available for me throughout the program. I feel she is an extraordinary nurse.

Kristin is a very compassionate nurse. She listens very attentively to all of my concerns. On the third day of my stay, I developed a migraine, but I had been unable to pick up my script from my normal pharmacy and I was struggling to make it through group. She went out of her way to contact the onsite pharmacy to have my script transferred here, which made it easier to get through all my groups. She's always sweet. She has a perfect sense of humor and most of all, she makes everyone feel welcome, and that is important when working in mental health.
