Teena was in the monitor room simply rounding on our monitor techs when she noticed a patient had some ST elevation. Teena was very very quick to act. The patient ended up being a STEMI. She made all the appropriate phone calls, which led to an emergent cath and ultimately saved this patient's life. Teena exemplified true leadership in this moment. She is one of the MOST knowledgeable people I know when it comes to interpreting EKG rhythms. We, and that patient specifically, are so incredibly lucky to have someone like Teena on our floor and she does not get recognized enough for her efforts. Thank you, Teena!

Teena is one of the most outstanding people that I have met here at Renown. Her knowledge is abundant. Her passion for her work is unsurpassed. Her adoration of our team is obvious. They say that when people feel appreciated they work harder and more efficiently. Teena is a big reason that I work harder and more efficiently. She will bring in pizza or donuts or chocolate croissants for whoever is working in the monitors that day. She defends us unrelentingly when others are harsh or apathetic to our calls. She does the job of several educators despite being only one person and deserves a raise, a promotion, flowers, candy, thank you cards. She trains us to save lives and reminds us how important our job is. Teena is the best of educators and people.
