Naomi is a special nurse. My son was admitted with Ribovirus and she was our nurse for two days. I did not have to ask for anything, it was as if she knew what I was thinking. Both days, she gave him a bath, brushed his teeth, changed sheets, and always willing to go the extra mile. My wife was with Naomi Tuesday, the 1st day, she was impressed, and it takes a lot to impress her. Always asking if we needed anything. While I was here, I didn't do a thing with my son (a nice break).
She always kept on top of things (pills, x-rays, and kept me informed). Here is an example, in the morning she bathed him, changed sheets, and brushed his teeth. We had to go to x-ray, she got him down there and helped in the x-ray room. When she got back, she changed all the sheets again, really devoted.
She listened to me. I told her I'm not getting the help I need for my son at home. She arranged for a Social Worker to come to my room and have a long talk and gave me knowledge. I was on track with getting him help.
I played the lottery and thought if won I would offer to pay her to be our nurse at home.
My son is 22 and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and can't do many things.
My son comes here often for medical care and her service was extraordinary. She was warm, friendly, and caring with my son.
