How does anyone find the right words to describe a beautiful soul, an angel on this Earth who found her calling as not just a nurse but rather an extraordinary one. Barb made me feel as if I was her only patient. By that, I mean she doesn't just rush in, answer the call of duty and move on. She made sure not only that all my needs are met but that nothing has been left undone, unsaid, even then she goes the extra mile and really listens and observes, then shares her knowledge and wisdom. For all my life, I have always gagged taking medications tossing my head back hoping these blasted pills will go down. With her beautiful smile and twinkling eyes, she solved this problem by sharing her story of how she once had that same problem, until she learned to tuck the chin just so to open the airway. Barb, where were you for the last 50 years of my life? Right here, waiting for the day we met. I thank God for you, for I will always hold you in my heart and prayers.
