After coming to the unit after my C-Section, I was comforted and welcomed by Nurse Emily Spears. She was so attentive to all my needs and wants. I felt like it was my own mother taking care of me! I don't even know how she found the time for other patients, because she spent and dedicated so much time to us. She definitely made our stay here home-like and problem-free. Just amazing. She heard me, she listened, she acted. Her entire being (body language, the tone of voice, everything) was just everything you could ever want in a nurse. There are so many instances I could share, but none would do her justice. She is amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. My labor and delivery were kind of difficult, but she really made my hospital stay wonderful. She was also very encouraging and positive. Emily is exactly what Denver Health needs.
