Michelle Whitehouse went out of her way to offer loving care during my hospital stay, whether it was through her assistance in moving around, giving out meds and explaining what they were for and why they were being given to first, a hug when things didn't seem to go in the right direction and reassurance that I would be alright. She always entered my room with a bright smile and was always very cheerful. Even when I was feeling down, her cheerfulness brought me to think of pleasant things. If I needed someone to talk to, she took time to listen. When she was extremely busy, she would take time to return when her day slowed to see if there was anything she could do. Sometimes this meant her returning after her shift was over. You will never find a more dedicated or caring person. Her patients truly come first. She truly puts her job as a nurse above all else in her compassionate and caring way, going above and beyond her nursing duties to make her patients feel comfortable during their stay at Aspirus. Truly an exceptional nurse and person in general.
